In all work at heights, workers are to use a fall-arrest harness (with body straps and leg loops) with an anchoring element joined to a secure point of the installation at a higher level than the harness fastening hook or fastened to an anchoring line (lifeline).
The use of energy absorbers is mandatory; these must form part of the anchoring element, except in the case of using sliding fall arresters (branched).
A chin strap must also be used.
