PREVENTIVE MEASURES
Rules for acting
- Walk around the work area at a normal speed.
- Avoid depositing objects in transit areas.
- Keep the site in order. Spend some time during the working day to gather up and put each thing in its place.
- Sufficient lighting.
- After having used an overhead crane (the client’s), the hook is to be raised to a considerable height (> 2.5 m.) to avoid knocking against it.
- Information prior to commencing work on the place where the work is to be done.

Rules for acting
- Use each tool only for the job it is designed for.
- Specific implements that are suitable for the cross-section of the wires to trim are to be used to do so. Do not use knives, scissors or any other alternative tool.
- Carry out maintenance of machinery and tools prior to the job.
- Store and transport tools in an appropriate manner.
- Keep tools well ordered.
- Training in their use and information on their inherent hazards.
- Use tools in a perfect state of repair, immediately replacing those that have deteriorated during work for others in good condition.
- Whenever possible, protect the corners and parts that may be sharp of parts or materials to be handled.
- Training of personnel in the appropriate use of tools and work equipment.
