Article 20 of Spain’s Occupational Risk Prevention Law establishes the obligation of the employer to adopt the necessary measures in questions of First Aid, designating the staff in charge of putting said measures into practice. Said staff must have the necessary training, be sufficient in number and have suitable material at their disposal depending on circumstances.
The aim of this document is to provide elemental knowledge that, in no case whatsoever, can replace the knowledge acquired through courses given by qualified professionals. This knowledge may enable effective aid to be given in the most common accidents.
