Ergonomic Hazards. Visual Display Units
1. Introduction
As instruments of work and personal use, Visual Display Units (henceforth VDUs) nowadays form a fundamental part of work and social systems.
Given the current importance of VDUs, it has been necessary to regulate, via Spanish Royal Decree 488/1997, of 14th April, the minimum stipulations regarding health and safety related to working with equipment that includes display units.
