310 Exposure to chemical pollutants.

RISK FACTORS

  • Chemical products used in our activities when handled (paint, solvents, anti-rust coatings, sealers, V-2, aluminothermal welding cartridges, finishes and protections for aluminium).

PREVENTIVE MEASURES

Rules for acting

  • Keep any products being used well sealed and in appropriate containers.
  • Keep containers in good condition.
  • Employ the indispensable amount of the product.
  • Information and training. Together with the Safety Plan for each job, our workers are to be given the technical safety sheets of the products they are going to handle.
  • Comply with each Client’s own Safety Regulations (prior information to our workers of the data provided by our clients) in accordance with the products used in their processes.

Personal protection

  • Suitable clothing (special for acids, bases, etc.), gloves providing protection against chemicals and safety goggles.
  • If applicable, protection of respiratory tract (consult labelling and, if in doubt, the safety information sheets of the chemical products).

  • ITP06.
  • Exposure to hazardous chemical pollutants at the client’s facilities: PC0526.

330 Exposure to noise.

RISK FACTORS

  • Those of the facilities themselves (machinery, moving vehicles, hydraulic brakes, hydraulic winches, etc.).
  • Using electrical tools and machinery (drills, radial grinders/cutters, grinders, chain saws, etc.).

PREVENTIVE MEASURES

Rules for acting

  • Comply with the Client’s Safety Regulations and use PPE in signposted areas.
  • Reduce exposure to noise by:
    • Limiting exposure time.
    • Appropriate work scheduling.
  • Information and training for workers exposed to the risk.

Personal protection

  • Ear protectors.
